About this role

Job Summary

The incumbent assists in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of freight cost management processes. The incumbent monitors invoice status, supports the resolution of rating and payment exceptions, and participates in coordination calls with audit partners and logistics service providers. Under guidance, the incumbent contributes to maintaining data quality, supporting supplier performance tracking, and learning the end-to-end freight audit process within the GTS (Global Transport Services) framework.

1. Support Freight Audit Activities

  • Assists in understanding and executing freight audit processes under the guidance of senior team members and subject matter experts.

2. Coordinate with Audit Partners

  • Helps manage communication and coordination with Pfizer’s third-party freight audit partners for Global Transport Services (GTS) spend.

3. Invoice Monitoring

  • Tracks and follows up on outstanding freight invoices to ensure timely resolution and payment.

4. Participates in Weekly Calls

  • Joins weekly accounts receivable (A/R) calls with freight auditors and logistics service providers (LSPs) to gain exposure to operational discussions.

5. Assist in Exception Handling

  • Learns to identify and support resolution of exceptions related to: Freight rating discrepancies; Shipment ownership issues; Audit mismatches; Cost allocation errors; Payment enablement delays; Account reconciliation gaps.

6. Supplier Performance Monitoring

  • Supports the collection and review of supplier performance data to help identify trends and improvement areas.

7. Data Quality Support

  • Assists in maintaining accurate and complete data records to support audit and payment processes.
  • Works according to relevant SOP / WI.

Skill Requirements

Bachelor’s degree, preferably Logistics, Operations Management or Business.

Minimum of 0 – 1 year with an understanding of Transportation process.

English - good communications skills, both written and verbal.

Good knowledge of Microsoft applications including Excel and PowerPoint. SAP Database experience.
