About this role
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to patients according to their condition and treatment plan.
Assess patients, monitor vital signs, and identify changes in clinical condition.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by doctors.
Maintain accurate nursing records, patient charts, and clinical documentation.
Assist doctors during procedures, examinations, and emergency care.
Monitor IV fluids, drains, catheters, wounds, and other clinical requirements.
Follow infection-control, medication-safety, and patient-safety protocols.
Educate patients and attendants regarding medications, treatment, diet, hygiene, and discharge instructions.
Maintain proper handover between shifts.
Respond appropriately to emergencies and participate in resuscitation procedures as trained.
Ensure proper handling and maintenance of nursing equipment and supplies.
Coordinate with doctors, technicians, physiotherapists, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain patient confidentiality and professional standards.
Eligibility
B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
Valid registration with the relevant State Nursing Council/Indian Nursing Council requirements, as applicable.
Clinical experience may be required depending on the hospital and position.
