Key Responsibilities

1. Provide safe and competent nursing care to patients.
2. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs.
3. Attend consultant rounds and implement medical instructions.
4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
5. Monitor and record patients' vital signs and clinical status.
6. Maintain accurate nursing documentation and records.
7. Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
8. Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
9. Ensure patient safety and infection control practices are followed.
10. Educate patients and relatives regarding treatment and care.
11. Maintain confidentiality and professional standards at all times.
12. Assist in emergency situations and perform basic life support when required.
13. Participate in departmental quality initiatives and safety programs.
14. Guide and support junior nursing staff and trainees.
