About the Role

We are looking for a Finance Executive (Contract) to join our Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, processing vendor payments, managing reconciliations, and assisting with statutory compliance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

• Pass accounting entries and maintain accurate books of accounts in Tally.
• Perform ledger, vendor, customer, and bank reconciliations.
• Assist in GST reconciliations, return preparation, and compliance activities.
• Process vendor payments and maintain complete payment documentation.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare schedules and documentation required for internal and statutory audits.
• Maintain accounting records, invoices, vouchers, and supporting documents.
• Prepare MIS reports and finance-related reports as required by management.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders on finance-related matters.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting and statutory regulations.
• Support ad hoc accounting, finance, and compliance-related activities.

What We're Looking For

• B.Com degree from a recognized university.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting and finance operations.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Hands-on experience with Tally ERP and MS Excel.
• Working knowledge of GST, reconciliations, and vendor payment processes.
• Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Good to Have

• Knowledge of TDS, statutory compliances, and audit processes.
• Experience working in a startup or high-growth organization.
• Familiarity with financial reporting and MIS preparation.
