Web Developer (Geospatial Platforms)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Web Developer – Geospatial Platforms to design, develop, and maintain web-based GIS applications and geospatial solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in modern web 

technologies, GIS platforms, spatial databases, and interactive mapping applications. The role involves building scalable geospatial platforms, integrating spatial data services, and delivering user-friendly web GIS solutions for infrastructure, urban planning, utilities, and smart city projects.

Key Responsibilities

 Design, develop, and maintain web-based GIS and geospatial applications.

 Build interactive mapping solutions using modern GIS and web development frameworks.

 Integrate GIS data, map services, APIs, and spatial databases into web applications.

 Develop responsive and user-friendly dashboards, portals, and geospatial visualization tools.

 Create and maintain REST APIs and backend services for geospatial applications.

 Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.

 Collaborate with GIS Analysts, Software Developers, Data Scientists, and Project Teams.

 Implement geospatial data management and visualization workflows.

 Troubleshoot application issues and provide technical support.

 Prepare technical documentation, deployment guides, and user manuals.

 Stay updated on emerging web GIS technologies and best practices.

Required Qualifications

 Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, GIS, Geoinformatics, Software 

Engineering, or a related field.

 3–8 years of experience in web development and GIS application development.

 Strong understanding of geospatial technologies, web mapping, and spatial data management.

 Experience in developing enterprise-level web applications and geospatial platforms.
