Job Summary

We are seeking a competent and experienced Road Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the planning, design, supervision, execution, and monitoring of road infrastructure projects while ensuring compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, project timelines, and statutory requirements. The candidate should possess strong technical expertise in road and highway engineering, project planning, estimation, contract management, and stakeholder coordination.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, supervise, and execute road and highway construction projects in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and construction methodologies.
  • Prepare quantity estimates, BOQs, cost estimates, and technical reports.
  • Develop and monitor project schedules using Microsoft Project (MSP) to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and government authorities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Supervise site activities and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Monitor construction progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure adherence to project milestones.
  • Prepare tender documents, technical proposals, bid evaluations, and contract-related documentation.
  • Manage project documentation, progress reports, measurement records, and project correspondence.
  • Ensure effective implementation of Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) procedures.
  • Assist in contract administration, billing verification, resource planning, and project execution.

Required Experience

  • 2–10 years of relevant experience in civil infrastructure projects.
  • Hands-on experience in Road and Highway Construction is mandatory.
  • Experience in Bridge Construction, Building Projects, and Water Supply Infrastructure will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in site supervision, project execution, planning, estimation, and quality management.

Preferred Experience

Preference will be given to candidates who have:


  • Worked on Asian Development Bank (ADB) funded infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) road projects.
  • Strong knowledge of IRC, MORTH, PMGSY Specifications, IS Codes, and other applicable engineering standards.
  • Experience coordinating with government departments, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Exposure to tendering, contract administration, project monitoring, and statutory compliance.
