Key Responsibilities
Common Services- ServiceNow Technical Consultant L3 Key Responsibilities: Technical Solution Architecture: Lead the design and delivery of complex technical solutions based on the ServiceNow platform, adapting existing methods and procedures to solve complex business requirements. Integrations & eBonding: Architect and implement multi-system Web Services integrations (SOAP, REST) and eBonding across ITSM and non-ITSM tools using iPaaS solutions. Platform Customization & Scripting: Perform advanced software configuration, custom scripting, and customization including Business Rules, UI Actions, UI Policies, Workflows, ACLs, Dictionary, Catalog Items, and screen tailoring across Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, and ESM applications. Automation & Orchestration: Drive system and process automation (Orchestration) to eliminate manual intervention and streamline cross-platform workflows. Platform Administration & Upgrades: Oversee overall instance administration including delegation of groups, CMS/Service Portal modifications, and maintenance/updates of existing solutions and new application modules. Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Lead and enrich a team of 5โ7+ technical resources, providing escalated technical support on complex issue resolutions and implementation projects. Requirements Translation & Delivery: Obtain and analyze business requirements, translate them into documented technical solutions, manage SDLC/Agile project rollouts, and deliver technical demonstrations to stakeholders.
Skill Requirements
Must have Skills: Technical: ServiceNow Development & Administration: 5+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow platform scripting, tool configuration, technical deployment, and core application development (ITSM / ESM). Web Services & Integrations: Deep technical expertise in Web Services integrations (SOAP, REST) and eBonding with external ITSM/Non-ITSM platforms via iPaaS solutions. Automation & Scripting Languages: Hands-on proficiency in JavaScript, AngularJS, Java, Python, HTML, XML, and System/Process Automation (Orchestration). Instance Governance: Proven skill in managing ACLs, UI Policies/Actions, Business Rules, Workflows, Data Imports, and Service Catalog items. Non-Technical Strong leadership capability with experience managing technical teams (5โ7+ resources) and multi-project deliveries. Considerable analytical judgment for solving complex architectural and scripting problems. Excellent technical documentation and solution presentation/demonstration capabilities. Good to Have Skills: Practical experience working in Agile/Scrum project methodologies and SDLC frameworks. Conceptual understanding of RDBMS, enterprise infrastructure components, and Cloud Management platforms (Azure, AWS). Experience generating technical solution design documentation and architecture blueprints. Soft Skills: Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders. Strong decision-making abilities and technical coaching skills for junior developer team members. High adaptability in fast-paced enterprise IT environments.
