Skill Requirements

Experience as a Business / Technical Analyst preferably in the banking/finance industry and specifically in the areas securities trading and transaction reporting • Excellent knowledge in the analysis of complex business needs. • Capacity to translate business needs into quality functional documents. • Being independent and proactive. • Knowledge of the different types of tools or models: Securities trading, transaction reporting (MIFID2, EMIR, MAS, HKMA, FINFRAG reporting, databases (SQL & NoSQL), etc. • Experience working in Agile. • Technical knowhow to write SQL statements, analyse workflow definitions and being able to look into code without writing it • Good knowledge of UML • Skilled in documentation and tracking tools: Confluence, Jira, Miro, Diagram software, etc. • Work in an Agile environment, in a small team with a high degree of coordination and synchronization, helping to constantly improve our processes and introduce new technologies

Job Responsibilities : Securities trading and transaction reporting (technical) business analyst • Collaborate with Product Owner, architect to define requirements for functions or services across products, understanding system architecture. • Drafting requirements documentation for all aspects of securities trading and transaction reporting. • Working with SMEs and Project Managers. • Business requirements should be elicited, analysed, specified, and verified. • Working with a range of project artifacts including BRDs, solution outlines, solution descriptions, workflow diagrams, data mapping spreadsheets, etc, to capture all detail necessary for the implementation of functionality. • Translate requirements into comprehensive Functional Specification Documents. • Work closely with the Development team to ensure a clear understanding and translation of requirements. • Analyse and re-produce bug tickets of securities trading and transaction reporting area • Write test cases and execute testing for the new functionality or bug tickets • Draft the documentation for new features to hand it over to technical writers.
