The role holder will be responsible for transforming complex technology, risk, control, remediation, and operational data into actionable insights through intuitive reporting, dashboards, and visualisation solutions.

This role combines strong Python engineering capabilities with expertise in business intelligence, data analytics, dashboard development, and executive reporting. The successful candidate will create strategic reporting products that enable senior management to monitor performance, risk exposure, control effectiveness, resilience, regulatory commitments, and strategic priorities across Technology.

The role requires close collaboration with technology teams, ITAOs, governance functions, risk managers, engineers, and senior stakeholders to develop scalable reporting solutions and data-driven narratives that support management decision-making.

Experience

8+ years of experience delivering enterprise reporting, analytics, and data solutions.

5+ years of hands-on Python development experience.

5+ years of dashboard and reporting development experience.

Experience designing management information and executive-level reporting.

Experience delivering reporting products for risk, governance, technology, cyber security, operational resilience, or regulatory programmes.

Proven experience working with global teams and senior stakeholders.

Experience leading reporting transformation and adoption initiatives.

Experience operating within Agile delivery environments.

Reporting and Dashboard Development

Design, develop, and maintain strategic dashboards, reporting solutions, and management information products.

Build automated reporting capabilities using Python and enterprise BI platforms.

Deliver reporting products aligned to governance forums, committees, regulatory initiatives, and strategic objectives.

Ensure reporting outputs are accurate, timely, scalable, and user-friendly.

Create automated data pipelines supporting recurring reporting and KPI production.

Develop reusable reporting frameworks and standardised metrics across multiple functions.

Support reporting needs across technology risk, controls, remediation, resilience, vulnerability management, and governance programmes.

Visualisation and Storytelling

Transform complex datasets into intuitive visualisations and actionable management insight.

Build executive dashboards supporting informed decision-making.

Develop presentations and visual narratives suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Design reporting products that clearly communicate trends, risks, exceptions, dependencies, and remediation progress.

Champion data visualisation best practices across reporting communities.

Establish reporting standards and visual design principles.

Platform Governance and Optimisation

Establish reporting governance standards and quality controls.

Define reporting design principles and KPI frameworks.

Optimise performance, usability, scalability, accessibility, and maintainability of reporting solutions.

Lead continuous improvement activities across reporting platforms.

Ensure consistency, traceability, and auditability of reporting outputs.

Drive reporting automation and reduction of manual reporting effort.

Python Engineering and Data Automation

Develop scalable Python-based reporting and analytics solutions.

Design and maintain automated ETL and data processing pipelines.

Build robust data integration solutions connecting multiple data sources.

Develop reusable reporting APIs and analytics services.

Implement automated quality checks and validation controls.

Support cloud-based reporting and analytics platforms.

Drive engineering best practices including code reviews, testing, CI/CD, and documentation.

Stakeholder Engagement

Collaborate with senior management, governance forums, and business stakeholders to define reporting requirements.

Facilitate workshops, demonstrations, training sessions, and adoption activities.

Act as trusted advisor on reporting strategy, KPI design, and data-driven decision making.

Present reporting findings and recommendations to senior management.

Support committee and executive-level reporting preparation.
