Senior Claude Engineer
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Claude Engineer to drive the architecture, engineering enablement, and enterprise adoption of Claude solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep hands-on expertise in Claude Desktop, including Chat, Cowork, Code, Projects, MCP integrations, APIs, and third-party (3P) configurations, with a strong understanding of how Claude operates behind the scenes within enterprise environments. This role will partner closely with Architecture, Security, Platform Engineering, and Development teams to ensure secure, scalable, and compliant deployments. Based on enterprise architecture material covering Claude Desktop, MCP integrations, deployment routes, and security controls.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform architecture reviews and provide technical assurance for Claude-based solutions.
- Act as the technical SME for Claude Desktop, including Chat, Cowork, Code, Projects, APIs, and MCP.
- Design, review, and support third-party (3P) integrations and configurations, including external AI platforms, enterprise tools, APIs, and cloud-hosted deployments.
- Assess and govern MCP server implementations, authentication models, and enterprise connectivity patterns.
- Partner with engineering teams to onboard, build, and optimise Claude-powered solutions.
- Review security, identity, networking, data protection, and compliance controls for enterprise deployments.
- Develop reference architectures, implementation standards, and engineering best practices.
- Support troubleshooting, production readiness reviews, and operational governance activities.
Skill Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven hands-on experience with Claude Desktop and enterprise AI platforms.
- Strong understanding of Claude Chat, Cowork, Code, Projects, MCP, APIs, context management, and prompt lifecycle.
- Experience with 3P configuration and integration patterns, including external AI services, enterprise tooling, authentication, and secure connectivity.
- Experience conducting architecture reviews and producing technical design documentation.
- Strong understanding of OAuth, SSO, Identity Federation, API Security, and enterprise networking.
- Experience with one or more cloud platforms: Google Cloud Platform (Vertex AI), AWS (Bedrock), or Azure.
- Strong engineering background with Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, or C#.
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, API integrations, and secure software development practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing enterprise GenAI and AI agent solutions.
- Knowledge of AI governance, security, risk, and regulatory controls.
- Familiarity with Anthropic Claude deployment models, Vertex AI, Bedrock, and enterprise AI gateways.
- Experience operating within highly regulated enterprise environments.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate can confidently explain and troubleshoot:
- How Claude Desktop works end-to-end.
- How Chat, Cowork, and Code interact with model endpoints.
- How MCP servers and enterprise integrations operate.
- How prompts, context, and inference flow through the platform.
- How third-party integrations and deployment architectures are secured and governed.
- How AI solutions can be deployed, supported, and scaled within an enterprise environment.
This role is suited to a hands-on engineer who can challenge architecture designs, support engineering teams, review 3P configurations and integrations, govern MCP implementations, and drive secure enterprise adoption of Claude at scale.
