About this role
Set up, configure, and prepare robotic surgical systems and accessories before each surgical procedure.
Assist surgeons and the OT team during robotic-assisted surgeries by providing technical support and ensuring smooth system operation.
Perform pre-operative checks, system calibration, and functionality testing of robotic equipment.
Ensure the availability, sterility, and proper functioning of robotic instruments, endoscopic cameras, accessories, and consumables.
Monitor robotic system performance during surgery and promptly identify and report technical issues or system errors.
Troubleshoot basic technical issues and coordinate with biomedical engineering teams and equipment vendors for repairs and maintenance.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, sterilization procedures, and OT safety standards for robotic equipment.
