About this role
Job Description
4.0 Assessment of patients on admission.
4.1 Detailed history taking and Physical examination.
4.2 To carry out investigation as instructed by the primary consultant.
4.3 To follow up with the reports and discuss with the primary consultant regarding further care and treatment of patients.
4.4 Periodic observation of the patients till the patient is shifted to the wards
4.5 Cross referrals to be given as necessary and follow up of the same.
4.6 Responsible for care of patient while being shifted to or from other units/hospitals, under supervision.
4.7 Follow hospital practices and demonstrate initiative aligned to ensuring the safest possible environment for patients and staff.
4.8 To attend all clinical meetings and work shops and actively participate in paper presentations.
4.9 To be part of training programmes conducted in the hospital and to take continuous initiatives for knowledge and skill up gradation.
4.10 To be a part of the Disaster Management Team.
4.11 To accompany patients as part of ambulance service when required.
4.12 To be trained person of BLS / ACLS/ CTLS, is mandatory.
4.13 To be responsible for any other jobs which are given by HOD – Emergency.
4.14 To maintain cleanliness & hygiene.
4.15 To participate and contribute to departmental quality initiatives.
4.16 To be aware of departments performance and objectives.
4.17 To carry out data collection/support in data collection.
4.18 To adhere to the safety norms of hospital and follow both patient safety and staff safety rules.
4.19 To perform any job / task as and when assigned by the superior.
4.20 To participate in department specific initiatives and ensure Department and Quality safety indicators are maintained.
