Patient Care & Treatment Delivery
- Prepare and position patients accurately for radiotherapy procedures.
- Deliver radiation treatment as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist.
- Verify treatment plans and patient identity before each treatment session.
- Monitor patients during treatment and report any concerns or adverse reactions.
- Educate patients regarding treatment procedures and safety precautions.
Equipment Operation
- Operate Linear Accelerator (LINAC), CT Simulator, and other radiotherapy equipment.
- Perform daily machine checks and report technical issues promptly.
- Ensure proper calibration and functionality of treatment devices.
Treatment Planning Support
- Assist Radiation Oncologists and Medical Physicists in simulation and treatment planning procedures.
- Participate in immobilization device preparation and patient setup verification.
- Maintain accurate treatment schedules and records.
Quality Assurance & Safety
- Adhere strictly to radiation protection and safety guidelines.
- Participate in quality assurance (QA) programs and audits.
- Maintain compliance with AERB regulations and hospital policies.
- Ensure proper documentation of treatment parameters and incidents.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain patient treatment records and departmental registers.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
- Record machine downtime and service activities.
