Subject Matter Expert (Support&Ops)

Job Summary

Strong Technical knowledge on below EMC Storage arrays ( Power Store, Unity, Vplex, PowerScale, Cisco MDS SAN switch )

Good knowledge on Troubleshooting Performance issues and break fix activities

Strong Knowledge on Vplex metro cluster environment, Storage provisioning as distributed devices and Migration using VPlex Storage array

Strong Knowledge on Powerscale devices such as NFS, CIFS shares

Candidate should have knowledge on cisco MDS SAN switch (Zoning, ISL, port-channel configuration and firmware upgradation using Putty)

Prepare Weekly and monthly Storage report and drive weekly call with client

Candidate will be providing on-call support on alternate weekend

Ability to work with onsite team with and vendor during break fix and firmware upgrade.

Performing root cause analysis, CAPA through problem management

Handling Priority incident, change request, Service request and support offshore team.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

**Good to Have: **

NetApp and IBM storage knowledge will be added advantage to the profile

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 8-15 years of experience in Storage

 ( L3 support ) administration

Key Responsibilities
