About this role

Job Summary

The Copilot Studio / Power Platform Architect is responsible for designing, architecting, and delivering enterprise-scale AI, automation, and low-code solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio and the Power Platform ecosystem. The role drives solution strategy, architecture governance, platform adoption, and innovation initiatives while ensuring scalability, security, compliance, and alignment with business objectives. The architect serves as a trusted advisor to business and technology stakeholders, leading digital transformation through AI-powered automation and intelligent business applications.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the architecture and design of enterprise solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages, Dataverse, and Copilot Studio. Design and implement intelligent copilots, virtual agents, AI assistants, and conversational experiences leveraging Microsoft Copilot capabilities. Define architecture standards, governance models, security frameworks, and best practices for Power Platform and AI solutions. Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify automation and transformation opportunities and translate them into scalable solution architectures. Design integrations with enterprise systems such as ServiceNow, SAP, Salesforce, Dynamics 365, Azure Services, Microsoft 365, and third-party platforms. Architect enterprise automation workflows, business process orchestration, and citizen development frameworks. Establish DevOps, CI/CD, ALM, environment strategies, and governance controls for Power Platform deployments. Lead technical reviews, solution assessments, risk evaluations, and architecture governance boards. Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to developers, engineers, and functional consultants. Drive adoption of Generative AI, Agentic AI, workflow automation, and intelligent business process solutions across the organization. Ensure solutions comply with security, privacy, regulatory, and data protection requirements. Develop architecture documentation, reference architectures, roadmaps, standards, and reusable design patterns.

Skill Requirements

8+ years of experience in enterprise application architecture, automation, digital transformation, or solution engineering. 4+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform. Strong expertise in Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps), Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages, and Dataverse. Extensive experience designing and implementing Microsoft Copilot Studio solutions. Deep understanding of Generative AI, Conversational AI, Prompt Engineering, AI Agents, and Enterprise AI architectures. Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with Azure services, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, ServiceNow, SAP, Salesforce, and REST APIs. Strong understanding of Power Platform governance, environment strategy, DLP policies, security, and compliance controls. Experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, and Entra ID. Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, solution governance, and cloud-native design principles. Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).

Other Requirements

Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert. Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI Engineer, or Azure Solutions Architect certifications. Experience with Azure OpenAI, AI Foundry, Machine Learning, and Agentic AI frameworks. Exposure to Robotic Process Automation (RPA) using Power Automate Desktop. Experience implementing enterprise chatbot, virtual assistant, and AI-driven automation programs. Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Synapse Analytics, and advanced analytics platforms. Experience in Agile, SAFe, DevOps, and Enterprise Architecture methodologies. Understanding of Responsible AI, AI governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks. Experience leading large-scale AI and automation transformation programs in global enterprise environments. ITIL, TOGAF, PMP, or equivalent professional certifications.ย
