Job Purpose
To drive international patient revenue growth by developing and managing strategic partnerships with overseas referral agents, embassies, corporates, insurance providers, and healthcare facilitators. The role is responsible for enhancing the hospital's global presence, expanding international patient volumes, ensuring seamless patient experience, and achieving international business targets.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Develop and execute international business strategies to increase patient inflow from targeted countries.
- Identify and establish partnerships with international referral agencies, healthcare facilitators, corporates, embassies, and insurance companies.
- Explore new markets and strengthen existing international business channels.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
Revenue Growth & Market Expansion
- Achieve annual international patient acquisition and revenue targets.
- Drive growth in key specialties such as Oncology, Organ Transplant, Cardiac Sciences, Neurosciences, Orthopaedics, and Women's Health.
- Monitor business performance and implement corrective action plans as required.
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with international partners, government agencies, embassies, and medical tourism facilitators.
- Coordinate regular meetings, presentations, and business reviews with key stakeholders.
- Ensure high partner satisfaction and retention.
International Patient Services
- Oversee end-to-end coordination of international patient journeys from enquiry to discharge and follow-up.
- Ensure smooth processing of treatment estimates, visa assistance, travel coordination, accommodation support, and interpreter services.
- Maintain high standards of patient experience and service excellence.
Marketing & Brand Promotion
- Collaborate with marketing teams for international campaigns, roadshows, conferences, and health camps.
- Represent the organization at international exhibitions, trade fairs, and business development events.
- Promote hospital services and clinical excellence across target geographies.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Work closely with clinical teams, operations, finance, marketing, and patient relations departments.
- Coordinate with doctors and clinical departments for treatment plans and business opportunities.
- Facilitate timely communication between international patients and hospital teams.
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare business forecasts, monthly reports, market intelligence reports, and revenue dashboards.
- Ensure compliance with international healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of referral partnerships and business contracts.
