About this role
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end claims handling across various lines of insurance, from intimation to settlement/closure.
- Coordinate with clients, insurers, TPAs, surveyors, loss assessors, and other stakeholders for smooth claim processing.
- Review claim documents and ensure completeness as per policy requirements.
- Register and track claims and maintain accurate claims records and MIS.
- Follow up with insurers/TPAs for claim status, approvals, queries, settlements, and payments.
- Assist clients in understanding policy coverage, exclusions, claim procedures, and documentation requirements.
- Identify and escalate claim-related issues, delays, and discrepancies to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Ensure claims are processed within agreed TATs and service-level standards.
- Support clients in resolving repudiations, deductions, documentation gaps, and other claim-related concerns.
- Prepare regular claims MIS, ageing reports, pending claims reports, and management dashboards.
- Coordinate with the broking/client servicing team to ensure effective communication and timely resolution of client concerns.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and insurance partners.
- Ensure adherence to internal processes, compliance requirements, and documentation standards.
