SAP PAPM (Profitability and Performance Management) EXPERT

We are looking for a dynamic and an energetic SAP PAPM (Profitability and Performance Management) EXPERT. This role will be based at our Pune Office. The role involves end-to-end solution design, delivering complex financial models, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the PAPM and BW landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and optimize SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM) models, including allocations, calculations, data enrichments, simulations, and reporting views.
• Understanding of SAP BW / BW4HANA data models, including InfoProviders (ADSOs, Composite Providers), Transformations, DTPs, Open Hubs, and BW Queries to support PaPM reporting and analytics requirements.
• Manage data from integration of PaPM with SAP BW, SAP S/4HANA, and other source systems to ensure seamless data flow, reconciliation, accuracy, and consistency.
• Collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, and IT stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into scalable, high-performance technical solutions.
• Research, analyze, and resolve data and system issues across SAP PaPM, BW, and integrated peripheral systems.
• Troubleshoot PaPM functions, processes, data load failures and performance bottlenecks;
• Work with support teams to ensure data availability, reliability, and optimal performance when handling large datasets.
• Identify and implement automation, optimization, and performance improvement opportunities within PaPM models and BW data flows.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAP BW and PaPM, providing guidance, second-line support, knowledge sharing, and mentoring to team members as required.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of overall SAP experience, including a minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP PaPM.
• Proven experience in designing and building complex financial models in PaPM, including allocations, transfer pricing, and royalty models.
• Strong SQL skills with solid debugging and performance analysis capabilities.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP BW / BW4HANA data modelling and data integration preferred.
