Maintenance Worker

Sandvik (Jining) Rocbolt Technologies China Co., Ltd. currently has an opening for a Maintenance worker position, located in Jining China, hours from 8:00AM to 5:00PM.

Main Responsibilities & Tasks:  
1)    Comply with all Sandvik EHS policies and procedures
2)    Strictly adhere to the company’s rules, regulations and relevant safety management systems
3)    Equipment maintenance and repair: Carry out regular maintenance and emergency repairs on all types of equipment to ensure it operates correctly.
4)    Troubleshooting: Rapidly diagnose and resolve equipment faults to minimise downtime.
5)    Equipment inspection: Carry out preventive maintenance tasks and check the performance and safety of equipment.
6)    Document maintenance work: Record detailed information on equipment maintenance and repair work, including repair dates, causes of faults and solutions.
7)    Training and guidance: Provide staff with training on equipment operation and maintenance to ensure they use the equipment correctly.
8)    Safe operation: Comply with safety regulations and prioritise personal and equipment safety when operating equipment.
9)    Spare parts management: Manage the stock of equipment spare parts to ensure sufficient spare parts are available when required.
10)    Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other departments or suppliers to jointly resolve equipment-related issues.
11)     Continuous Learning: Keep abreast of new maintenance techniques and equipment developments to continuously improve one’s skills.
12)     Strictly comply with relevant regulations and operating procedures, and carry out inspections and repairs of various mechanical equipment on schedule.
13)     Use maintenance materials sparingly, eliminate waste, and clear the work area promptly after repairs.
14)    Maintain accurate shift handover records.
15)    Undertake other tasks assigned by management as required.

Experience & Knowledge:
1)    At least one year’s experience in equipment maintenance; candidates with experience in multinational manufacturing companies will be given priority
2)    Familiarity with maintenance procedures
3)    Possession of relevant technical skills
4)    Good team spirit, a strong sense of responsibility and good communication skills;
