About this role
- Assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with medical, surgical, traumatic, and other emergency conditions.
- Perform initial triage and prioritize patient care based on severity and clinical urgency.
- Stabilize critically ill and injured patients according to established clinical protocols.
- Conduct detailed history taking, physical examinations, and clinical assessments.
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans under the supervision of senior consultants.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as required.
- Perform emergency procedures within the scope of competency and hospital guidelines.
- Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, referrals, and discharges.
- Ensure proper documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and clinical outcomes.
Emergency Procedures
- Airway management and resuscitation.
- Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (BLS/ACLS).
- Trauma assessment and stabilization.
- Wound management and suturing.
- Arterial and venous access procedures.
- Emergency management of cardiac, neurological, respiratory, and metabolic emergencies.
- Participation in Code Blue and other emergency response activities.
