About this role

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Organize and administer the Occupational Health Program-organize and manage the company's occupational health service, integrating occupational safety and health (OSH) programs. If a physician is present, carry out duties under the physician's supervision.

  • Conduct health maintenance examinations-Perform nursing procedures within the legal scope of practice and refer employees to a physician when more comprehensive assessment or treatment is required.
  • Promote occupational health and safety-Participate in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment. Conduct health education and wellness activities. Recommend improvements to reduce workplace hazards and protect workers' health and well-being.

  • Maintain health records & reports-Keep accurate and confidential medical records. Prepare and submit required occupational health reports to management and, when applicable, to the appropriate government agency if no physician is available.

     

Education & Experience

  • One (1) year experience in Occupational Health Nursing
