We are looking for a talented North America Payroll Manager to join our Payroll team for Cummins Services – HR Operations at Cummins Comercializadora in San Luis Potosí, SLP, Mexico.
Work Modality: Hybrid, 3 days on site, 2 days home office
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Drive appropriate consistent processes across assigned country/s and coordinate efforts focused on global/regional process standardization.
- Analyze and make recommendations to existing technologies and supporting processes to drive continuous improvement and change initiatives.
- Own oversight of assigned country/s payroll to ensure compliance with company and country-specific policies and procedures as well as to support fiscal and regulatory compliance.
- Implement and leverage approved technology that best fits our objectives
- Plan, manage and ensure execution of daily payroll processes including expatriate payroll administration.
- Partner effectively with stakeholders across HR Operations, IT, Finance, and other functions to ensure appropriate flow of data and reporting.
- Provide subject matter expertise, counsel, and support with respect to payroll related matters, existing and new payroll requirements as well as system integration and configuration requirements, by partnering with our technical teams.
To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience managing a team of payroll analysts
- Strong knowledge of US and Canadian payroll regulations and labor laws.
- Minimum five years’ experience in a Payroll Leadership role.
- Experience with Payroll/Time & Attendance/HR ERP systems, preferably ADP Global View, SAP, Kronos/ADP eTime and Oracle HCM.
- Experience in ADP Smart Compliance (Garnishments)
- Functional knowledge of systems referenced above using in-house or processing services model with ADP GlobalView.
- Experience with in-house, large (minimum 5000 employees), multi-state payroll processing utilizing case management tools for employee support.
- Experience with more complex payroll processes like executive comp, deferred compensation, equity plans, collective bargaining and expatriate payroll.
- Highly organized, collaborative, and customer-focused in fast-paced environments.
- Able to schedule work hours to ensure payroll processing deadlines are met.
- Advanced English Level required
Preferred:
- French Canadian language level a plus.
- LATAM country experience a plus.
- US and or Canadian Payroll certification a plus.

Education, Licenses, and Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, administration or related.
