POSITION PURPOSE
The SCM Lead will be responsible for building, leading, and institutionalising the Supply Chain & Procurement function across Listenlights' MEP-GC business and the rapidly growing Pharma & Semiconductor vertical.
The role owns the complete procurement lifecycle—from procurement strategy and vendor development through OEM management, long-lead planning, project procurement execution, contract negotiations, ERP governance, compliance, and supply chain risk management.
The incumbent will establish scalable procurement processes, build strategic supplier partnerships, develop high-performing teams, and ensure timely project execution while optimizing cost, quality, and delivery performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. SCM Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute end-to-end Supply Chain & Procurement strategy across MEP-GC, Pharma and Semiconductor projects.
- Build scalable procurement frameworks, governance models and best practices.
- Drive procurement excellence aligned with business growth objectives.
2. OEM Procurement
- Lead procurement of critical OEM equipment including HVAC, Electrical, Process Utility, Cleanroom and Automation systems.
- Manage OEM relationships, technical approvals, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), inspections and delivery coordination.
- Ensure timely procurement of project-critical equipment.
3. Vendor Development & Management
- Develop and manage a robust, pre-qualified vendor ecosystem across multiple engineering disciplines.
- Lead vendor onboarding, qualification, audits and performance management.
- Build long-term strategic supplier partnerships.
4. Long Lead Item Management
- Identify and manage long-lead procurement requirements from project pre-award stage.
- Maintain Long Lead Registers and procurement trackers.
- Coordinate with Engineering and Project teams to mitigate schedule risks.
5. Project Procurement Execution
- Execute procurement aligned with project BOQs, budgets and schedules.
- Manage RFQs, techno-commercial evaluations, negotiations, purchase orders and logistics.
- Ensure complete procurement documentation and project traceability.
6. Commercial & Cost Management
- Lead commercial negotiations with OEMs and suppliers.
- Develop framework agreements and rate contracts.
- Drive procurement savings while maintaining quality and delivery commitments.
7. Supply Chain Risk Management
- Identify procurement and supply chain risks.
- Develop alternate sourcing strategies and business continuity plans.
- Implement buffer stock strategies for critical materials.
8. Governance & Compliance
- Ensure procurement complies with company policies, contractual obligations and project specifications.
- Manage GMP documentation, material traceability, vendor qualification records and inspection documentation.
- Maintain audit readiness across procurement activities.
9. Leadership & Capability Development
- Lead, mentor and develop the SCM organization.
- Establish KPIs and performance management systems.
- Foster collaboration across Engineering, Finance, Projects and Commercial functions.
10. ERP & Digital Procurement
- Champion ERP adoption and procurement digitisation.
- Drive data accuracy and process discipline.
- Generate MIS dashboards covering procurement status, vendor performance, cost savings and supply chain KPIs.
11. Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with Clients, PMCs, Consultants and QA teams for approvals and procurement compliance.
- Manage Approved Vendor Lists (AVL), technical submissions and procurement-related customer interactions.

EDUCATION
Mandatory
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering
- MBA / PGDM in Supply Chain Management, Operations or Procurement
Preferred Certifications

- Equivalent Supply Chain or Procurement Certification
EXPERIENCE (MANDATORY)
- Minimum 15 years of Supply Chain & Procurement experience.
- Minimum 5 years leading Procurement/SCM teams.
- Proven experience in MEP, EPC, Industrial, Pharma or Semiconductor facility projects.
- Hands-on OEM procurement experience across MEP, Process Utility and Cleanroom systems.
- Demonstrated expertise in vendor development and supplier management.
- Strong experience managing long-lead procurement.
- Exposure to ERP-based procurement systems.
- Experience driving procurement governance and digital transformation.
