Engineer E2, EHS

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Implement and administer EHS programs and procedures in compliance with ISO standards and legal requirements.
• Conduct audits and reviews, recommend corrective actions, and monitor improvement progress.
• Manage contractor safety, permits-to-work, and EHS reporting.
• Continuously review company-wide risk assessments and implement preventive measures
• Support local EHS performance reviews, identify trends, and participate in problem-solving activities.
• Ensure all licenses, reports, and documentation are accurate, updated, and compliant with government and corporate requirements.
• Provide EHS training to employees and support Emergency Response Team (ERT) development.
• Support EHS campaigns, communication programs, and internal audits
• Report quality high risk events to supervisors.
• Report unsafe behaviors to supervisors.
• Report to next managing levels when my supervisor does the wrong thing without the correction.
• Access to some manufacturing methodologies and proprietary process information.
• Confidential information: Communicate about incident/accident
• Ask employees to stop production, work and do corrective actions when detecting inconsistent with the environmental policy of the company.

Education & Experience

• Minimum of + 2 years of related experience in EHS, prefer experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering/ science, major in Environmental Engineering, Safety Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Chemical Engineering, or related field.

Skills

Skill: Risk assessment, training, root cause analysis, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, Safety Observation.

Well knowledge on EHS programs: fall protection, electrical, chemical, fire protection, LOTO, 5S, Ergonomic, EHS Review, industrial hygiene, environmental protection,…

Working Conditions

Works in standard office / manufacturing environment.

Ability to handle stress, proactive thinking, good initiative, and readiness for changes are essential demands at work.
