CWB Testing - Sept

The Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Maintenance & Installation specialist in Ford's 1000001706 department will execute installation, service, and repair of vehicle HVAC systems. This role includes creating test and dummy descriptions for the most recent CWB patch within ORC, performed over the past weekend, to ensure compliance and system integrity.

• Diagnose and repair refrigeration and air‑conditioning systems on Ford vehicles.
• Install new HVAC components and perform system calibrations.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Document service actions and generate test reports for CWB patch validation.
• Create dummy data and test descriptions for ORC testing environments.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams on patch deployment.
• Maintain compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Provide technical support and training to junior technicians.
• Track inventory of HVAC parts and tools.
• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives for HVAC processes.

• Associate degree or certification in HVAC technology or related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in automotive refrigeration and AC service.
• EPA Section 608 certification (or equivalent).
• Familiarity with Ford vehicle HVAC systems and diagnostic tools.
• Experience creating test documentation for software patches.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and manuals.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends for testing.
