About this role

The Construction Platform Team Manager is responsible for the leadership, management and continuous improvement of the Digital Systems Team (DST). This role reports to the Head of Digital Construction.

The role is responsible for ensuring that the organisation's digital construction platforms are effectively governed, configured, supported and adopted across the business. The position provides leadership for project mobilisation, platform governance, user support, training, reporting, vendor management and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Construction Platform Team Manager shall ensure that digital systems support project delivery requirements while maintaining company-wide standards, consistency and governance. The role contributes to the delivery of the company's digital transformation strategy and the ongoing development of digital construction capabilities.

Leadership, Governance & Continuous Improvement

· Lead and develop the Digital Systems Team, ensuring clear accountability, effective resource management and a culture of collaboration, service excellence and continuous improvement.

· Establish and maintain governance, standards, processes and reporting frameworks that support the effective management, optimisation and continuous improvement of digital construction platforms.

Digital Platform Management & Support

· Manage the configuration, administration, performance and ongoing development of digital construction platforms, ensuring alignment with business requirements and company standards.

· Oversee vendor relationships, user support, issue resolution, training programmes and platform adoption initiatives to maximise business value and user engagement.

Project Delivery Enablement & Stakeholder Engagement

· Oversee the mobilisation, configuration and support of digital systems for projects, ensuring requirements are captured and implemented effectively throughout the project lifecycle.

· Collaborate with project teams, Document Control, Design Management, VDC/BIM, IT and other stakeholders to ensure digital systems support operational requirements while maintaining appropriate governance and consistency.

Qualifications & Experience:

Essential

· Degree qualification in Construction, Engineering, Information Management, Construction Technology, VDC/BIM or a related discipline.

· Significant experience within digital construction, information management, BIM/VDC, construction technology or related fields.

· Experience managing or supporting Common Data Environments and digital construction platforms.

· Experience leading teams, projects or operational functions.

· Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

· Proven experience developing processes, governance structures and operational improvements.

Desirable

· Procore administration or implementation experience.

· Knowledge of ISO 19650 information management principles.

· Experience in training programme development and adoption management.

· Experience with reporting, analytics and business intelligence tools.

· Experience supporting digital transformation programmes within construction environments.
