Project Controls Engineer

Due to continued expansion, we are hiring a Project Controls Engineer to join our Planning Department for projects across Dublin.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and maintain the project master programme (baseline schedule) using Primavera P6.
· Monitor progress against the baseline and produce periodic schedule updates, identifying critical path variances and float erosion.
· Prepare and issue earned value analysis (EVM), and forecasts for senior management and the client.
· Coordinate with the commercial team on valuations, cash flow forecasting, and subcontractor cost reporting.
· Support the project manager with look-ahead planning, resource loading, and procurement schedule alignment.
· Produce dashboards, progress and KPI reports for internal review meetings and client progress meetings.
· Liaise with site teams, package managers, and subcontractors to capture accurate progress data.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, or a related discipline.
· Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a Project Controls Engineer, Planning Engineer, Project Planner, or similar project control’s role within construction or engineering.
· Proven experience using Primavera P6 to develop, maintain, and monitor project programmes and schedules.
· Strong understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM), forecasting, critical path analysis, and project performance reporting.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with project, commercial, site, and subcontractor teams.
