Construction Manager - (Infra Wind)

Key Responsibilities

Construction Execution

• Manage construction of internal roads, access roads, haul roads, and hardstands/crane pads.
• Oversee earthworks, grading, embankment construction, soil stabilization, and pavement works.
• Ensure proper execution of subgrade, sub-base, base course, and surface layer construction.
• Monitor road geometry, compaction, and drainage requirements as per design specifications.
• Coordinate with survey, quality, and engineering teams for smooth project execution.

Planning & Coordination

• Develop and monitor construction schedules and resource deployment plans.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Ensure availability of manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Review drawings, specifications, and method statements before execution.

Quality Assurance & Control

• Ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Supervise field testing activities including compaction tests, FDT, plate load tests, and material quality checks.
• Monitor inspection and testing plans (ITP) and close quality observations promptly.
• Maintain project quality records and documentation.

Health, Safety & Environment

• Enforce project HSE requirements and safe work practices.
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety reviews.
• Ensure contractor compliance with company and client safety standards.
• Promote a zero-harm safety culture across project teams.

Project Monitoring & Reporting

• Track daily, weekly, and monthly construction progress.
• Identify construction risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Provide progress reports to management and clients.
• Monitor productivity and optimize equipment utilization
