About this role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate AI/ML and Generative AI capabilities into digital learning and platform products.
- Build AI-powered applications using LLMs, NLP, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, and vector databases.
- Develop and integrate APIs to connect AI services with existing platform applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code primarily using Python.
- Assist in developing and optimizing prompts for LLM-based applications.
- Support data preprocessing, model evaluation, testing, and basic machine learning workflows.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, UI/UX, Data, and other cross-functional teams to develop technology solutions.
- Build prototypes and proof-of-concepts to evaluate emerging AI technologies and use cases.
- Support the deployment, debugging, monitoring, and continuous improvement of AI-powered applications.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, documentation, and other software development practices.
- Stay updated on developments in Generative AI, LLMs, AI Agents, and AI application development.
Required Skills
- Strong programming knowledge in Python.
- Good understanding of software development and programming fundamentals.
- Basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts.
- Hands-on exposure to Generative AI / LLM-based applications.
- Familiarity with:
- Prompt Engineering
- RAG
- Embeddings
- Vector Databases
- NLP
- REST APIs
- Exposure to AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, LangChain, or LlamaIndex.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and databases.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub and software development practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
