Business Operations Intern – BizOps
About this role
About the role:
We are looking for a Business Operations Intern to support the BizOps team in driving key process-improvement and reporting initiatives. The role will involve working closely with Category, Supply Chain, Operations, and other cross-functional teams to improve data accuracy, identify recurring operational issues, and reduce day-to-day firefighting.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with data, tracking operational metrics, coordinating with stakeholders, and solving process gaps.
What you'll do:
SKU Master Management:
- Drive SKU master updates in coordination with Category Managers to ensure accurate pricing and product attributes and reduce mismatches during inwarding.
Fill Rate & Lead Time Reporting:
- Build and maintain regular reporting on fill rates and lead times, identify repeat-offending brands, and track corrective actions.
STN Tracking:
- Track Stock Transfer Notes (STNs) to ensure timely movement and prevent misallocation of inventory across Central Hubs (CHs).
Wastage Tracking:
- Track and analyze wastage across Bangalore and Hyderabad, identify trends and key reasons for wastage, and support initiatives to reduce losses.
- Maintain trackers, dashboards, and reports to provide visibility into operational performance.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to follow up on pending actions and ensure timely closure.
- Identify recurring process gaps and support the BizOps team in implementing solutions to reduce manual effort and firefighting.
What We’re Looking For:
- 0–1 year of experience; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good command of Excel / Google Sheets; knowledge of basic data analysis is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
- Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Ability to follow up proactively and drive tasks to closure.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment.
- Curious mindset with an interest in understanding processes and improving them.
