About the role:
We are looking for a Category Operations professional to support the day-to-day growth and operations of the Dairy & Eggs category at FirstClub.
The role will involve working closely with Category Management, Buying, Supply Chain, Vendors and Operations teams to ensure the right assortment, availability, pricing and overall category performance.
This is an execution-focused role suited for someone who is analytical, detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll do:
- Support day-to-day operations and execution for the Dairy & Eggs category.
- Track category performance, sales, availability, inventory and key operational metrics.
- Assist with assortment planning and SKU-level tracking.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure product availability and timely replenishment.
- Monitor pricing, promotions and product availability and highlight gaps.
- Support new product / SKU onboarding, including coordination for listings, content and documentation.
- Work with Supply Chain and Operations teams to identify and resolve availability, inventory and fulfilment-related issues.
- Maintain category trackers, MIS and regular performance reports.
- Identify operational gaps and follow up with relevant stakeholders for closure.
- Support Category Managers in analysing data and preparing insights for category reviews.
- Coordinate with multiple teams to ensure smooth execution of category initiatives.
What we're looking for:
- 2+ years of experience in Category Operations, Category Management, Supply Chain, Procurement, Retail or E-commerce.
- Bachelor's degree in Dairy Technology, Food Technology, Agriculture, Supply Chain or a related field.
- Candidates from NDRI / ICAR institutes or similar relevant academic backgrounds would be preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good working knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and take ownership of execution.
