Bidding / Tendering Executive

Role Overview

Monarch Surveyors and Engineering Consultants Ltd. is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Bidding / Tendering Executive to support and manage end-to-end tendering activities. The role is critical to ensuring high-quality, compliant, and competitive bid submissions across multiple government and PSU platforms.

The candidate will work closely with sales leadership, technical teams, and external stakeholders to contribute directly to business growth through effective tender management.

Key Responsibilities

Tender & Bid Management

· Review and analyse tender documents to understand technical, commercial, and contractual requirements.

· Coordinate with internal teams to collect inputs related to scope, methodology, timelines, and pricing.

Bid Strategy & Evaluation

· Support Go / No-Go decision-making in collaboration with Sales leadership.

· Assist in developing bid strategies, identifying key differentiators, and strengthening value propositions.

Proposal Development

· Draft, compile, and edit clear, persuasive, and compliant technical and commercial proposals.

· Customise content to align with client expectations and tender objectives.

Compliance & Risk Management

· Ensure strict compliance with tender conditions, formats, and submission guidelines.

· Identify contractual and commercial risks and coordinate with legal / technical teams for mitigation.

Documentation & Knowledge Management

· Maintain a structured repository of tenders, templates, credentials, CVs, and case studies.

· Ensure version control, accuracy, and audit readiness of all bid documents.

Portal Submissions

· Manage end-to-end online tender submissions on portals such as GeM, IREPS, eProcure, nProcure, MahaTenders, etc.

Market Intelligence & Post-Bid Review

· Track industry trends, competitor activity, and upcoming opportunities.

· Conduct post-bid analysis to capture lessons learned and continuously improve bid quality.

Deadline & Stakeholder Management

· Handle multiple bids concurrently while ensuring timely and accurate submissions.

· Maintain proactive communication with all internal stakeholders to meet deadlines.

Qualifications & Skills

· Graduate in any discipline (Engineering / Management preferred).

· Proven experience in bidding and tendering, preferably in civil engineering or infrastructure consultancy.

· Strong analytical, documentation, and coordination skills.

· Sound understanding of tendering procedures, contractual terms, and compliance requirements.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Proficiency in MS Office and bid management / CRM tools.

· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
