About this role

Faculty members are educators who have the primary responsibility of preparing students for the tests required for global education (SAT/ACT/GRE/GMAT). The faculty members are entrusted with the responsibility of fulfilling the mission, vision, values, strategic plan and the educational philosophy of the organisation. The successful candidates would have the ability to utilise creative and inspiring learning pedagogy and to trigger logical thinking in students minds.

Deliver effective instruction:
  • Use personal experience & prescribed pedagogy to drive student learning as required for the specific course
  • Integrate real-life situations into learning experiences to encourage critical thinking
  • Provide timely & constructive feedback on mock/full-length tests to students to drive continuous improvement in knowledge & scores
  • Identify & use appropriate training aids to enhance the student experience and learning outcomes

Academic development:
  • Recommend improvements in curriculum, pedagogy, learning aids, teaching assignments, etc., wherever necessary.
  • Actively contribute to making/upgrading study material, test papers and assignments for the courses

Manage classes and learning environments:
  • Maintain attendance records, and test score details for students
  • Ensure regular student assessments
  • Monitor and analyse student’s performance and provide useful guidance to students


EDUCATION
  • Graduate from IITs, BITS or premiere engineering institutions at the national level, OR
    • Graduate in Maths from a recognised university

EXPERIENCE
  • 4- 1 0 years' experience in coaching students in quantitative methods for the preparation of SAT/ACT/GRE/GMAT

  • Result-oriented, passionate and devoted towards teaching
    • Subject-expert with strong explanatory ability to teach the fundamentals as well as the intricacies of the subject
    • Sensitive towards holistic development of students
    • Excellent verbal and written English language communication skills with active listening
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with students
    • Ability to set priorities and manage time effectively
    • Target oriented and a team player
    • Strong attention to detail
