Position: Assistant Clinical Nurse

Job Purpose

To provide safe, compassionate, and patient-centred nursing care under the supervision of senior nursing staff, while supporting clinical procedures, patient monitoring, documentation, and smooth functioning of the nursing unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients as per hospital policies and clinical protocols.

• Monitor and record patients' vital signs, clinical condition, and response to treatment.

• Assist doctors and senior nurses during examinations, procedures, and treatments.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following medication safety protocols.

• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation and patient records.

• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge procedures.

• Ensure proper implementation of infection prevention and control practices.
