JOB DESCRIPTION – ASSISTANT CLINICAL NURSE

Job Purpose

To provide safe, compassionate, and quality nursing care to patients under the supervision of senior nursing staff, while ensuring compliance with hospital policies, clinical protocols, and patient-safety standards.

• Provide direct nursing care to patients as per the prescribed treatment plan and hospital protocols.

• Monitor and record patients’ vital signs, clinical condition, intake/output, and other relevant observations.

• Assist doctors and senior nurses during examinations, procedures, treatments, and emergencies.

• Administer medications safely as prescribed and maintain proper medication records.

• Perform nursing procedures within the scope of practice and ensure appropriate infection-control practices.
