Summary

Responsible for delivering and coordinating user training for registration, scheduling, and client identity management applications across multiple health authorities. Provides onboarding and application support to staff, evaluates training effectiveness, and continuously improves learning programs to ensure successful user adoption and operational excellence.

What You Bring

Education

  • Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Business Administration/Management/Information Technology and/or Information Management with specialized courses in Training, plus two (2) to three (3) years of experience in software implementation project management, including documentation, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Skills and Abilities

  • Comprehensive knowledge of policy and standards for client identity management and client registration data collection.
  • Working knowledge of information security and confidentiality guidelines and policies such as the Freedom of Information Protection and Privacy Act.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to supervise and train employees, including organizing, prioritizing and scheduling work assignments.
  • Ability to manage own work activities to achieve maximum efficiency.
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues, and recognize when to escalate.
  • Ability to write training materials and edit training materials written by others.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse user community.�
  • Knowledge of staff hiring procedures.
  • Strong exposure to a variety of corporate-level client registration and scheduling healthcare applications, as a supervisor and/or trainer.
  • Basic understanding of businesses process re-engineering.

Your Day to Day:

  • Planned and delivered training for Client Identity Management, Registration/ADT, Scheduling, and HealthNet applications.
  • Coordinated training logistics, including scheduling sessions, registrations, facilities, and classroom setup.
  • Conducted orientation and application training for new nursing staff and other healthcare employees.
  • Managed user access, confidentiality agreements, and application security in compliance with organizational policies.
  • Developed, updated, and maintained training materials to reflect system enhancements and software releases.
  • Supported system implementations by documenting and improving user workflows and business processes.
  • Participated in user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate system functionality and enhance training readiness.
  • Provided end-user support by troubleshooting application issues and recommending effective solutions.
  • Served as a subject matter expert, ensuring compliance with Ministry of Health, CIHI, and health authority standards.
  • Evaluated training effectiveness, monitored user readiness, and continuously improved training programs to support successful system adoption.
