About this role

Job Summary

Job Summary : HCLTech is seeking an experienced Axonius Engineer to own the administration, customization, and continuous improvement of our Axonius Cybersecurity Asset Management (CAASM) platform. The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of hands-on experience across cybersecurity asset management and security-tool integrations, with deep expertise in Axonius custom queries, dashboards, and adapters, and proven experience integrating tools such as Rapid7/InsightVM and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE). This is an end-to-end ownership role spanning integration engineering, data reconciliation, automation, and stakeholder-facing reporting, requiring both strong technical depth and the ability to translate security and compliance requirements into working Axonius solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities : • Administer and configure the Axonius platform end-to-end, including adapters, connections, correlation rules, and platform-level customizations. • Design and build custom Axonius queries to support security, asset management, vulnerability management, compliance, and operational use cases. • Build, maintain, and continuously improve Axonius dashboards and reports tailored to security and business stakeholder requirements. • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot integrations with security and IT tools, including Rapid7/InsightVM, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE), and other adapters as required. • Perform asset discovery, correlation, reconciliation, and data-quality validation across multiple security and IT data sources. • Identify and remediate gaps in asset visibility, including missing, unmanaged, stale, duplicate, and non-compliant assets. • Incorporate manual and custom data sources into Axonius where automated integrations are not available, ensuring data accuracy and completeness. • Develop, test, and maintain Axonius automations and Enforcement Center workflows to drive remediation and policy actions. • Troubleshoot issues across data ingestion, adapters, queries, dashboards, and integrations, working with vendors and internal teams as needed. • Partner with security operations, infrastructure, vulnerability management, and endpoint teams to close asset visibility and security-tool coverage gaps. • Evaluate new Axonius features, adapters, and use cases, and recommend enhancements to queries, dashboards, and workflows as requirements evolve. • Maintain clear documentation of Axonius configurations, integrations, queries, dashboards, and operational runbooks. • Support audits, compliance reporting, and leadership reviews with accurate, up-to-date asset inventory and coverage data from Axonius.
