Role Summary Experienced AIX Consultant responsible for managing and supporting enterprise UNIX/AIX environments, ensuring high availability, performance optimization, and adherence to security and compliance standards. The role demands strong troubleshooting skills, automation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. System Administration & Operations • Install, configure, and maintain IBM AIX systems across environments • Perform OS patching, upgrades, and system hardening • Manage user accounts, permissions, and security policies [Panel Nomi...et Account | Outlook] 2. Performance & Capacity Management • Monitor system performance and implement tuning measures • Optimize CPU, memory, disk, and I/O utilization • Support capacity planning and forecasting 4. Skill Requirements

Mandatory Skills • Strong hands-on experience in IBM AIX (6.x/7.x) • Expertise in Unix/Linux administration (RHEL/SUSE – good to have) • Knowledge of LVM, NIM, VIOS, PowerVM virtualization • Experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting • Good understanding of ITIL processes

Experience & Qualification • 8–12 years of overall IT experience (typical for E3.2 band) • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Computer Science
