Summary:
As a Veeva CRM Associate Test Manager, a typical day involves coordinating end-to-end testing for implementations, integrations, and releases in a regulated life sciences environment. This role supports test planning, execution, validation, defect management, reporting, and team delivery. The position focuses on ensuring quality, traceability, compliance, and release readiness across Veeva CRM programs while driving collaboration between business, development, validation, and vendor teams. The role also emphasizes continuous improvement in testing processes, automation, regression coverage, and delivery excellence while maintaining GxP, CSV, data integrity, privacy, security, and audit-ready documentation requirements.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Support test strategy and own detailed plans, estimates, schedules, resources, dependencies, and quality gates.
- Coordinate functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, mobile, data migration, and UAT for Veeva CRM releases.
- Review coverage for commercial processes, Salesforce configurations, integrations, test data, environments, and deployment readiness.
- Drive traceability, execution tracking, defect triage, retesting, root-cause analysis, and closure.
- Ensure GxP, CSV, data integrity, privacy, security, and audit-ready documentation requirements are met.
- Manage release-level risks, dependencies, metrics, status reporting, and stakeholder escalations.
- Guide Test Leads and testers, allocate work, review deliverables, and coordinate business, development, validation, and vendor teams.
- Improve automation, regression coverage, reusable assets, estimation, and testing processes.
- Own test delivery, coordination, risk management, and quality outcomes across releases.
- Drive structured execution, problem-solving, continuous improvement, and timely defect resolution.
- Ensure on-time completion of assigned test cycles, quality gates, and clear status reporting.
- Deliver strong coverage, traceability, audit-ready documentation, and improved team productivity and regression efficiency.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must Have Skills: Hands-on Veeva CRM testing experience in a life sciences environment.
- Additional skills include Veeva CRM, Salesforce, ISTQB, Agile, or test-management certification.
- Strong knowledge of Veeva CRM commercial processes, Salesforce configurations, integrations, and multi-application release testing.
- Experience in test planning, estimation, resource coordination, defect management, traceability, risk-based testing, UAT, and regulated documentation.
- Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM/Quality Center, Zephyr, or equivalent tools.
- Working exposure to Selenium, Cucumber, Tosca, or similar automation tools.
- Good understanding of Agile and validated delivery models, GxP, CSV, ALCOA+, data integrity, and audit requirements.
- Strong analytical, team leadership, planning, stakeholder-management, escalation, and communication skills.
- Strong collaboration skills with business, development, validation, vendor teams, and stakeholders.
-Experience with Veeva Commercial Cloud, iOS offline testing, dashboards, or automated reporting is preferred.
-Exposure to API, database, performance, accessibility, and security testing is preferred.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have 7–10 years of software testing or quality engineering experience, including at least 2 years as a Test Lead or Associate Test Manager.
- Bachelor s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
