About this role

  • Lead the development and delivery of software features and enhancements within agreed timelines and quality standards.
  • Provide technical leadership through solution design, architecture discussions, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
  • Ensure products meet functional and non-functional requirements, including performance, security, scalability, reliability, and user experience.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management, Global R&D, Services, and other stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, cloud adoption, automation, and engineering efficiency.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop team members through regular feedback, performance discussions, and career development planning.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, resolve issues, and escalate when necessary.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team environment.
  • Lead and contribute to software development activities across the full development lifecycle.
  • Drive technical design sessions, estimation activities, and sprint planning discussions.
  • Review code and ensure adherence to development standards and architectural guidelines.
  • Ensure delivery quality through testing, automation, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Coach and mentor engineers to strengthen technical capabilities and promote knowledge sharing.
  • Manage team performance, conduct regular one-on-ones, and support employee development plans.
  • Track and communicate project progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders and management.
  • Promote a customer-focused mindset by understanding customer use cases and delivering scalable cloud solutions.

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of software development experience using Java or .NET.
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
  • Experience with Java development and modern frontend technologies including React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Experience with REST/SOAP web services and cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift/OKD, CI/CD tools, and monitoring platforms.
  • Knowledge of database technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.
  • Understanding of SDLC, testing practices, cloud deployment, and performance optimization.
  • Proven leadership, communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience mentoring or leading engineering teams.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration practices.
  • Experience with Agentic AI SDLC.
  • Exposure to technologies used in contact center environments.
