About This Role
We’re looking for a Tax Compliance Specialist / Sr. Specialist to manage end-to-end indirect tax compliance across multiple geographies. This role sits within the Finance function and focuses on execution across tax compliance, reporting, and risk management.
You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors to ensure accurate tax filings, maintain compliance with evolving regulations, and support audits. This role is suited for someone who is detail-oriented, hands-on with systems, and comfortable navigating complex tax environments.
What You’ll Do
Tax Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain and validate tax documentation across jurisdictions
- Ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations
- Track changes in tax laws and assess their operational impact
Tax Reporting & Reconciliation
- Support preparation and timely submission of tax filings
- Reconcile tax data across systems to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Assist in responding to tax authority queries and audit requirements
Process Improvement & Automation
- Identify opportunities to improve tax workflows and reduce manual effort
- Collaborate with technology teams to drive automation and efficiency
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with Finance, Legal, and Operations teams
- Coordinate with external advisors and regulatory bodies when required
Risk Management & Controls
- Monitor and mitigate tax-related risks
- Maintain internal controls and ensure audit-ready documentation
What We’re Looking For
- CA / CWA / CA Inter / MBA (Finance) / M.Com / B.Com
- 7–10 years of experience in taxation (indirect tax preferred)
- Manage tax department operations, liaise with tax authorities, and handle tax-related legal matters
- Exposure to multi-country or overseas tax environments is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills to handle complex tax scenarios
- Hands-on experience with SAP / CFIN / MS Office
- Experience managing or working with larger teams
- Strong communication, presentation, and execution skills
- Willingness to work in shifts based on business requirements
