Make Every Day Matter

Are you looking for a job where no two days are the same and where you can genuinely make a difference?

We're looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Support Worker to join our friendly team in Eastbourne.

This isn't your typical 9–5 job. One day you could be supporting someone to go bowling, visit the theatre or enjoy an open mic night. Another day, you might be exploring a stately home, visiting a cathedral or supporting someone to develop new skills and confidence.

Every day is different - but every day gives you the opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life.

The Role

As a Support Worker, you'll support people with Autism and Learning Disabilities to live happy, fulfilling and as independent a life as possible.

You'll encourage people to make their own choices, achieve their personal goals and enjoy the things that matter most to them.

Your role may include:

  • Supporting people to access and enjoy their local community
  • Encouraging independence and developing everyday life skills
  • Supporting individuals with activities, hobbies and interests
  • Building positive and trusting relationships
  • Providing emotional reassurance and practical support
  • Supporting individuals in a calm and person-centred way
  • Working closely with your team to provide consistent, high-quality support

Who Are We Looking For?

We're looking for someone who is kind, patient, reliable and genuinely enjoys helping others.

You may already have experience supporting people with Autism and Learning Disabilities, but experience isn't essential — we provide full training and ongoing support.

You'll be someone who is:

  • Calm and patient, even in challenging situations
  • Confident and emotionally resilient
  • Comfortable using or learning Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approaches
  • Reliable and consistent
  • A strong team player
  • Able to build positive and trusting relationships
  • Creative, flexible and solution-focused
  • Passionate about helping people live the life they choose

No previous care experience? No problem. If you have the right values and attitude, we'll provide the training and support you need to succeed.

What You'll Receive

We believe our colleagues should feel valued and supported. When you join us, you'll receive:

  • £13.45 per hour
  • 36 contracted hours per week
  • 203 hours annual leave, including Bank Holidays (pro rata)
  • Fully paid training and comprehensive induction
  • Ongoing learning and career development opportunities
  • Company pension scheme
  • Company sick pay following successful probation
  • Employee referral bonus - £200 when your referral joins and a further £300 after one year
  • Supportive management and a friendly, welcoming team
  • A rewarding role where no two days are ever the same
