Job Description
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery, cutlery and work areas.
- Operate dishwashing and cleaning equipment safely and correctly.
- Ensure all dishes, glasses, cutlery and kitchen utensils are properly cleaned and stored.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen and back-of-house areas.
- Collect and dispose of waste according to the hotel's hygiene and environmental procedures.
- Assist with cleaning floors, walls, storage areas, and other designated areas.
- Ensure cleaning chemicals are used, stored and handled safely.
- Assist kitchen and F&B teams with the movement
- Maintain cleanliness of garbage areas and ensure waste bins are emptied regularly.
- Report damaged equipment, maintenance issues, shortages, or hygiene concerns to the supervisor.
- Follow all health, safety, food hygiene and HACCP procedures.
- Support the team during busy service periods and special events.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or kitchen environment would be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety
