Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery, cutlery, and work areas.
- Operate dishwashing and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure clean items are properly stored and readily available for service.
- Maintain cleanliness in kitchens, loading areas, stores, and garbage rooms.
- Collect, separate, and dispose of waste according to hotel procedures.
- Support the kitchen team during meal periods, banquets, and events.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, health, and safety standards.
- Report damaged equipment, maintenance issues, and shortages to the supervisor.
- Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing kitchen supplies when required.
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and responsibly.

Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience as a Steward or Kitchen Steward is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and cleaning procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hotel environment.
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Reliable, hardworking, and a good team player.
