• Provide direct nursing care to patients as per their clinical requirements and care plans.
• Assess and monitor patients' vital signs, clinical condition, and response to treatment.
• Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and other treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation, patient records, and reports.
• Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and emergency interventions.
• Identify and promptly report any changes in the patient's condition to the concerned doctor and nursing supervisor.
• Follow infection prevention and control practices, including hand hygiene and appropriate use of PPE.
• Ensure safe handling and disposal of biomedical waste as per hospital guidelines.
• Maintain proper stock of medicines, consumables, and nursing equipment and report shortages.
• Ensure proper identification of patients before medication, procedures, and other clinical interventions.
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment, medication, diet, hygiene, and discharge instructions.
• Support admission, transfer, and discharge procedures.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with hospital policies and ethical standards.
• Participate in emergency response, code procedures, and other critical-care activities as required.
• Ensure proper handover of patient information during shift changes.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and readiness of the nursing station and patient-care areas.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, training programs, and competency assessments.
• Comply with applicable statutory, regulatory, accreditation, and hospital requirements.
