The role acts as the highest technical escalation point for virtualization-related incidents, changes, problem management, capacity planning, and disaster recovery activities.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nVirtualization Platform Management\r\n• Administer VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, VMware Cluster Services, and Hyper-V environments.\r\n• Manage VM provisioning, cloning, migration, templates, snapshots, and resource allocation.\r\n• Configure and maintain HA, DRS, vMotion, Storage vMotion, and Failover Clustering.\r\n• Create and manage virtual switches, distributed switches, VLANs, and virtual networking.\r\nInfrastructure Operations\r\n• Monitor virtualization infrastructure health, performance, and availability.\r\n• Manage CPU, Memory, Storage, and Network resource utilization.\r\n• Perform datastore creation, expansion, and storage optimization.\r\n• Configure and manage multipathing and storage connectivity.\r\nIncident & Problem Management\r\n• Act as L3 escalation point for critical incidents and outages.\r\n• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and post-incident reviews.\r\n• Troubleshoot complex VMware ESXi, vCenter, Hyper-V, and cluster-related issues.\r\n• Analyze logs and performance metrics to identify recurring issues.
