The Central Operations team is a key part of Grab Vietnam's country operations. The team supports the smooth and efficient running of Grab's marketplace operations, with a strong focus on driver-partners, merchant-partners, operational quality, and business performance.

Get to Know the Role

We are seeking a and professional Specialist, Driver Enforcement to join our team in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. In this role, you will be responsible for enforcing driver compliance standards, conducting investigations, and maintaining comprehensive documentation to ensure adherence to traffic regulations and organizational policies, reporting to an Assistant Manager, Driver Enforcement. You will play a critical role in promoting road safety and maintaining the integrity of our driver management program through fair enforcement practices.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Conduct in-depth investigations into driver violations by gathering evidence and documenting findings in comprehensive reports.
• Review driver records and safety data to identify patterns and ensure strict compliance with traffic laws and Grab's policies.
• Interview drivers and witnesses objectively to obtain critical statements for enforcement cases.
• Make sound, data-driven decisions regarding enforcement actions based on violation severity and regulatory guidelines.
• Prepare accurate case documentation and maintain organized records of all enforcement activities.
• Partner with regional management teams to deploy and execute initiatives focused on elevating the service quality of Grab driver-partners.
• Communicate enforcement outcomes and rationale to drivers, internal management, and relevant stakeholders.
• Track driver compliance metrics and analyze enforcement data to spot trends and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and objectivity in all enforcement proceedings.
• Stay abreast of current Vietnamese regulations and changes in company policies.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Experience & Knowledge: 3+ years proven experience in driver enforcement, compliance, or regulatory roles. Strong grasp of traffic laws and a foundational knowledge of legal principles to apply enforcement procedures effectively.
• Planning & Execution: Strong with the proven ability to connect cross-functional teams and drive the end-to-end execution of operational plans.
• Present information clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
• Investigation & Analytics: Demonstrated ability to conduct investigations, analyze evidence objectively in enforcement matters.
• Administration: proficiency in report writing.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in navigating internal databases, basic skills in using Google Sheets and Google Slides.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Language: proficiency in English language
• Specialized Training: Certification in conflict resolution or communication.
• Industry Background: Experience working with transportation or fleet management organizations.
• Software Skills: Experience with case management software, data analysis. Solid knowledge and practical experience in operating and managing data automation workflows.
