Job Summary

Job Summary:

Serve as the retail business domain expert for data, analytics, AI, and digital transformation initiatives. Drive alignment between merchandising, stores, e-commerce, supply chain, marketing, and data teams to unlock business value through data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Retail domain leadership 
  1. Provide expertise across key retail functions: 
  1. Merchandising 
  1. Category management 
  1. Pricing and promotions 
  1. Store operations 
  1. E-commerce and omnichannel 
  1. Supply chain and inventory management 
  1. Customer loyalty and CRM 
  1. Translate business objectives into data and analytics requirements 
  1. Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and data teams 
  1. Data strategy and governance 
  1. Define retail data domains and business ownership 
  1. Establish data standards, business definitions, and governance processes 
  1. Drive data quality initiatives across product, customer, inventory, sales, and supplier data 
  1. Define critical business KPIs and measurement frameworks 
  1. Analytics and insights 
  1. Partner with analytics teams to build actionable dashboards and reporting solutions 
  1. Support customer segmentation and personalization initiatives 
  1. Omnichannel and customer analytics 
  1. Define metrics across: 
  1. Stores 
  1. Mobile applications 
  1. E-commerce platforms 
  1. Marketplaces 
  1. Loyalty programs 
  1. Drive a unified customer view across channels 
  1. Support customer journey and conversion funnel analysis 
  1. Supply chain and inventory analytics 
  1. Define reporting and analytics requirements for: 
  1. Demand forecasting 
  1. Replenishment 
  1. Inventory optimization 
  1. Vendor performance 
  1. Fulfillment operations 
  1. Support initiatives to reduce stock-outs, overstocks, and working capital 
  1. AI and advanced analytics 
  1. Identify AI and GenAI use cases across retail operations 
  1. Guide development of: 
  1. Demand forecasting models 
  1. Recommendation engines 
  1. Dynamic pricing solutions 
  1. Promotion optimization 
  1. Customer churn prediction 
  1. Assortment optimization 
  1. Validate business outcomes and adoption strategies 
  1. Stakeholder management 
  1. Facilitate workshops and business requirement sessions 
  1. Drive cross-functional alignment and prioritization

  1. 20 years in retail, e-commerce, consumer goods, or omnichannel retail
