Job Summary : Messaging & Collaboration Engineer – Threema

Job Description : The Threema Engineer is responsible for supporting, administering, and troubleshooting the Threema Work secure enterprise messaging platform. The role focuses on secure business communications, user management, mobile collaboration services, access governance, compliance requirements, and integration with enterprise identity and device management solutions. Threema Work provides end-to-end encrypted messaging, voice/video calling, file sharing, and centralized administrative controls for organizations. 

Key Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities : Threema Platform Administration Administer and maintain the Threema Work environment. Manage user provisioning, deprovisioning, and role assignments. Configure corporate communication policies and security settings. Support group creation, broadcasts, secure messaging, and file-sharing services. User Support & Troubleshooting Resolve messaging, call, file transfer, and synchronization issues. Troubleshoot authentication, mobile application, and access-related problems. Support Android, iOS, desktop, and web client users. Security & Compliance Monitor secure communication services. Enforce encryption and data protection policies. Support GDPR and enterprise compliance requirements. Review audit logs and investigate communication security incidents. Mobility & Device Management Integrate Threema Work with MDM/UEM solutions. Support mobile device onboarding and application deployment. Manage device access controls and security policies. Incident & Service Management Handle L2 incidents, service requests, and escalations. Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues. Work with L3 teams and vendors for advanced troubleshooting. Maintain SLA compliance and service quality. Reporting & Documentation Generate usage and operational reports. Maintain SOPs, knowledge articles, and support documentation. Participate in service reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
