Job Summary

WHAT YOU WILL OWN  One of the platform's core systems, end to end: design, build, test, operate. Each senior engineer leads a track and is the person the team goes to for it. You write most of the code in your track and review the rest.  TRACKS (WE ARE HIRING ACROSS ALL THREE)  Platform and integration (2)  Integration bus and adapter SDK, semantic layer and Tool Registry, durable workflow execution on Temporal, multi-tenant data model, API gateway.  AI and agents (2)  Agent runtime on LangGraph, supervisor routing, LLM gateway, RAG pipeline, memory, guardrails, evaluation harness and LLM-as-judge.  Studio (1)  The React / TypeScript builder: data-definition and agent editors, visual workflow graph, streaming test console with trace viewer, dashboards.  RESPONSIBILITIES  Design your track's components with the architect; write the ADRs; own the interfaces other tracks depend on.  Ship production code every sprint with tests, observability and documentation as part of "done".  Own reliability of what you build: dashboards, alerts, runbooks, and your share of on-call from Go-Live.  Review code across the team; mentor the engineers on your track.  Sit with pilot customers' engineers when your component meets their systems.  MUST HAVE (ALL TRACKS)  Built and operated production services that real customers depended on, including the part where they broke.  Expert in Python (FastAPI, async, typing, Pydantic) or, for the Studio track, TypeScript and React with strong API and state-management skills.  Solid with PostgreSQL (schema design, indexing, migrations) and Redis; comfortable with Kafka concepts.  Docker and Kubernetes day-to-day; CI/CD; writes infrastructure changes in Terraform when needed.  Testing discipline: unit, integration, contract tests; load testing when it matters.  Clear technical writing and the judgement to push back on a design.  MUST HAVE (BY TRACK)  Platform and integration: built integrations with enterprise systems (CRM / ERP over REST, SOAP or JDBC), handled auth, pagination, retries and rate limits; used a durable workflow engine (Temporal, Cadence, Step Functions) or built equivalent saga / state-machine logic; designed for multi-tenancy.  AI and agents: shipped an LLM-based feature to production; hands-on with LangGraph or an equivalent agent framework, tool / function calling, structured outputs, RAG with a vector database; has built an evaluation loop and can explain how it changed a prompt.  Studio: built complex, data-heavy React applications (editors, graph or canvas UIs, real-time streaming views); strong TypeScript; design sensibility and accessibility basics; experience with component libraries and testing (Playwright / Testing Library).  GOOD TO HAVE  OpenTelemetry instrumentation. Vector database operations. Apache Camel or another integration framework.
